MEXICO CITY, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Mexico will meet Trinidad and Tobago in an international friendly next month as the team finalizes preparations for the CONCACAF Nations League, the Mexican football federation (Femexfut) said on Wednesday.
The fixture will be played on October 2 at the Nemesio Diez stadium in the central Mexican city of Toluca, according to a Femexfut statement.
Mexico will begin their Nations League campaign with a visit to Bermuda on October 11 followed by a home clash with Panama four days later.
El Tri are currently preparing for friendlies against the United States on Friday and Argentina next Tuesday.
The fixtures will be Mexico's first outings since they won the CONCACAF Gold Cup by defeating the United States 1-0 in the final on July 7.
