MADRID, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Spanish share values climbed by 1.54 percent on Thursday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 opening at 8,856.60 points and closed at 8,992.70 points.
Shares in 25 of the 35 companies on the Ibex-35 went up in price, while the shares of 10 companies lost value during the day.
The day's best results were all for savings banks with shares in Banco Sabadell, Bankia, and Bankinter going up by 7.68, 7.66 and 5.77 percent respectively.
The worst performer of the day was healthcare provider Grifols Clase A, with share prices going down by 1.30 percent, while share values in telecommunications companies Cellnex Telecom and Masmovil Ibercom dropped by 0.90 and 0.85 percent. Enditem
