FIFPro reveals 55-player shortlist for 2019 FIFA Men's World11

South Korean forward Song Heung-min comes out the sole Asian player having been included in FIFPro's 2019 FIFA Men's World11.

BEIJING, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- World soccer's governing body has announced an initial 55-member roster in contention for the 2019 FIFA FIFPro Men's World11, with Tottenham Hotspur's South Korean forward Son Heung-min the sole representative from Asia.

The World11 will be decided by thousands of professional footballers from across the world. Each voters selects a team of 11 players from the shortlist, comprising one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards.

The final FIFA FIFPro Men's World11 will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony in Milan, Italy on Monday 23 September.
