TOKYO, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks advanced Wednesday morning on receding trade concerns and expectations for global easing measures, while a comparatively weak yen versus the dollar gave exporters a boost.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average added 122.04 points, or 0.57 percent, from Tuesday to 21,514.14.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, gained 14.84 points, or 0.95 percent, at 1,572.83.
Bank, mining, and oil and securities house-linked issues comprised those that gained the most by the morning break. Enditem
