CHICAGO, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural futures settled lower on Wednesday, with soybeans futures falling on forecasts for favourable U.S. Midwest crop weather.
The most active wheat contract for December delivery was down 4.75 cents, or 0.98 percent, to settle at 4.775 U.S. dollars per bushel. December corn was down 1.5 cents, or 0.41 percent, to 3.6 dollars per bushel. November soybeans were down 5.5 cents, or 0.63 percent, to 8.665 dollars per bushel.
CBOT wheat futures fell as traders turned to profit taking and technical selling after wheat prices have climbed nearly four percent this week.
CBOT corn futures also went down as wet weather in the U.S. Midwest, seen as beneficial for late development of crop, pressured the market. Enditem
