Uganda to host regional football U-20 Challenge Cup

KAMPALA, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Uganda will later this month host the Council for East and Central African Football Associations (CECAFA) Under 20 Challenge Cup, a top official said here on Wednesday.

Edgar Watson, chief executive of the Federation of Uganda Football Association, said that the tournament is scheduled to be held on Sept. 21-Oct. 5.

Besides hosts Uganda, the other teams expected to compete in the tournament include Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Sudan, South Sudan, Djibouti, Eritrea, Somalia, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Burundi. Enditem
