BEIJING, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted Sunan County of Zhangye City in northwest China's Gansu Province at 8:48 p.m. Monday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 38.56 degrees north latitude and 100.34 degrees east longitude, the CENC said in its preliminary report.
