Morocco, Ecuador discuss plans to boost cooperation

RABAT, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- Morocco and Ecuador discussed on Monday in Rabat steps to boost trade, economic cooperation.

Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, after a meeting with Ecuadorian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Andres Teran, told reporters that relations between the two countries entered a "new phase," and their dialogue "will continue to be furthered" in the future.

"Our discussions helped identify future actions to build our partnership on solid bases," he added.

For his part, Teran said his country seeks to develop a new phase in the two countries' relations.

He expressed his willingness to see this cooperation cover other areas such as tourism, trade, agriculture and vocational training. Enditem
