MINSK, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- The gross domestic product (GDP) of Belarus grew 1.1 percent year on year in January-August 2019, the country's National Statistics Committee said Monday.
The Belarusian GDP increased to about 83.9 billion rubles (about 41 billion U.S. dollars).
In the January-August period, the GDP deflator index equaled 106.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
The authorities predict economic growth of about 4 percent in 2019. In 2018, the country's GDP grew by 3 percent. Enditem
