CHUN'AN, China, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- China's first ever open water world champion Xin Xin will compete the last stop of the 2019 FINA/CNSG Marathon Swim World Series on Sunday in Qiandao Lake, Chun'an.

Chun'an leg, the last meet of the season after eight previous legs, attracts about 47 best swimmers from the world.

Hungarian star Kristof Rasovszky and Italian Rachele Bruni are the front runners on the men's and women's standings while the runners-up Matteo Furlan of Italy and Ana Marcela Cunha of Brazil will also show up in the 10km race.

Xin, two-time winner at Qiandao Lake in 2016 and 2018, will try to defend her title here after she won first ever gold medal in the open water for China at FINA World Championships in Gwangju, South Korea in July and earned a ticket to 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
