SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas heads a 24-man Costa Rica squad that will meet Haiti and Curacao in the CONCACAF Nations League, head coach Ronald Gonzalez said on Friday.

But there was no place for captain Bryan Ruiz, who paid the price for a lack of recent playing time with Brazil's Santos.

"Bryan is aware that he is not playing and that means he doesn't have rhythm," Gonzalez told a news conference.

"We hope that in December he will fix this situation and again be considered for future squads. He is a valuable player, the captain of the national team."

Costa Rica will play Haiti in Bahamas on October 10 before hosting Curacao in San Jose three days later.

Following is the Costa Rica squad:

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Leonel Moreira, Adonis Pineda.

Defenders: Ricardo Blanco, Keysher Fuller, Giancarlo Gonzalez, Kendall Waston, Francisco Calvo, Oscar Duarte, Kevin Espinoza, Bryan Oviedo, Ronald Matarrita.

Midfielders: Celso Borges, Allan Cruz, Dilan Flores, Jose Cubero, Luis Diaz, Joel Campbell, Randall Leal, Ariel Lassiter.

Forwards: Jose Ortiz, Johan Venegas, Francisco Rodriguez, Jonathan Moya.
