In pics: archaeological site in Kaifeng City, C China's Henan

Photo taken on Oct. 11, 2019 shows a yard from Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) at an archaeological site in Kaifeng City, central China's Henan Province. An archaeological excavation has been on going from 2012. According to archaeological discovery there are 6 layers of remains located from 3 to 12 meters underground due to city reconstruction on the original site after several times of Yellow River floods in ancient time. The ancient city ruins dates from the Warring States Period (475 B.C.-221 B.C.) to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) (Xinhua/Zhu Xiang)
