BEIJING, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- The English edition of a book chronicling the rise of the People's Republic of China (PRC) from October 1949 to September 2019 has been published by the Central Compilation and Translation Press.
The Chinese edition of the book, compiled by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, was published by the People's Publishing House in September.
The English edition will help foreign readers learn more about major events and achievements of the CPC and the PRC over the past 70 years and how the CPC has led the people in building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
