TEHRAN, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that in line with reducing its nuclear commitments, Iran will start gas injection to the centrifuges installed in Fordow nuclear facilities on Wednesday.

"Iran's fourth step in reducing its commitments under the JCPOA (nuclear deal) will begin today by injecting gas to centrifuges," Rouhani tweeted on Wednesday.

"Fordow will soon be back to full operation," he said.

Earlier in the day, official IRNA news agency reported that Iran transferred 2,000 kg of Uranium Hexafluoride (UF6) to Fordow nuclear facility.

In reaction to the U.S. withdrawal from the JCPOA last year, Iran has, since May, made moves to build stockpiles of nuclear fuel and enrich low-grade uranium to a higher level of purity, and has started up advanced centrifuges to boost the country's stockpile of enriched uranium, which had been restricted by the accord.
