FRANKFURT, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed in a serious highway accident involving two cars and a truck near Ruesselsheim in the state of Hesse on early Saturday morning, according to local police.
A Mercedes crashed at high speed on the A67 highway into a truck in front of it, and was then thrown into the left lane, where it collided with a BMW, according to a video posted by the police online.
The driver and two passengers of the Mercedes were killed. The driver of the truck and the two occupants of the BMW were injured.
The highway was fully closed for about five hours.
