RIYADH, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabia has arrested a Yemeni national in connection with a stabbing case against three theater actors, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.
Spokesperson of the Riyadh Police Shaker Al-Tuwaijri said that the incident took place at 8:00 pm (1700 GMT) on Monday. The two male and one female victims were attacked during their live presentation at the stage of a park in the center of the capital Riyadh.
He confirmed that they sustained superficial wounds and are receiving necessary medical care. The culprit, 33, was arrested immediately after storming the theatre and the knife used in the attack was seized from him.
The spokesperson did not highlight the reason behind the case or details about the identity of the two victims.
