JAKARTA, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Motocross riders from Asia and beyond will descend on Indonesia's South Sumatra Province to compete in two motocross events over the next two months.
Teams from China, the U.K., Australia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Indonesia will compete in the 2019 Muba Asia Auto Gymkhana Cup and the 2019 Muba International Supermoto Cup, said Muhammad Fariz, head of the Youth and Sports Department of Musi Banyuasin District where the events will take place.
The 2019 Muba Asia Auto Gymkhana Cup is scheduled to be held from November 30 to December 1, and the 2019 Muba International Supermoto Cup will be staged from December 7 to 8, according to Fariz.
"Both events will be held at Sky Land circuit. We have improved infrastructure for the events and added more facilities," he added.
The circuit lies in a 27-hectare area, complies with the international standards in terms of width and length, and adopts the style of similar circuits in Japan, according to Fariz.
