Former Mongolian legislator sentenced to two years in prison

ULAN BATOR, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- A Mongolian court on Tuesday sentenced former Mongolian parliament member Dorjdugar Gantulga to two years in prison for raping and attempting to rape.

Gantulga raped a 25-year-old female student at her home in June, 2017 and attempted to rape another woman in early 2018.

He stepped down from his post in June, 2018 after the first case was made public.
