7.2-magnitude quake hits Molucca Sea: CENC

BEIJING, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale jolted northern Molucca Sea, Indonesia at 00:17 a.m. (Beijing Time) on Friday, said the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of 50 km, was determined to be at 1.55 degrees north latitude and 126.48 degrees east longitude, according to the CENC.
