TOKYO, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks bounced back Friday morning as the market mood was lifted by renewed hopes for an early trade deal between two major economies.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average added 164.16 points, or 0.71 percent, from Thursday to 23,305.71.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, gained 13.43 points, or 0.80 percent, at 1,697.83.
Farm and fishery, pulp and paper and precision instrument-linked issues comprised those that gained the most by the morning break.
