KUWAIT CITY, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Kuwait will build e-link between healthcare centers and hospitals, Kuwait's Minister of Health Bassel Al-Sabah said on Sunday at the inauguration of a healthcare center in Hawalli Governorate.
The implementation of the electronic link between healthcare centers and public hospitals is underway, he said at the opening ceremony of Salwa Healthcare Center.
There is already an electronic link between healthcare centers and the primary healthcare system currently, he noted.
The health ministry is working to implement the electronic prescription system soon, which aims to maintain the safety and protection of patients, stop wasting money, and avoid medical errors, he added.
