LUANDA, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Angola is holding an international mining conference and exhibition in the capital city Luanda as the southern African nation seeks to create business partnerships in the mining sector.
The two-day event is co-organized by the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Petroleum and UK's AME Trade Ltd. under the theme of "unblocking potential of national mining sector through investments and diversification".
The forum aims to become one of the main platforms for the definition of policies and promotion of investments in Angola and Africa.
The event is being attended by foreign mining firms, experts of the mining sector and policy-makers.
