Jiangsu trounce Qingdao 130-114 in CBA game

NANJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Jonathan Gibson notched 31 points in 23 minutes to help Jiangsu Dragons ease past Qingdao Eagles 130-114 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Thursday.

Gibson was fouled out in the third quarter but successfully led Jiangsu to establish a double-digit lead to enter the last minutes. Dakari Johnson of Qingdao scored a team-high 28 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.

Jiangsu opened the game in their rhythm by attacking the paint led by Miroslav Radulica, who contributed 28 points plus 13 rebounds and helped his team prevail 63-47 to end the first half.

Qingdao was trapped into turnovers in the last period, and could not keep pace with the imposing performance of their opponents' fierce attacks.
