BEIRUT, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- As many as 150 Lebanese have visited China for training and workshop this year, said Chinese ambassador in Lebanon on Friday.
The Chinese embassy in Lebanon held a reception for the Lebanese who have participated in training sessions and workshops in China.
Wang Kejian, Chinese ambassador in Lebanon, representatives from the Chinese embassy, and Lebanese who acquired training in different fields in the East Asian country, took part in the ceremony.
"Around 150 Lebanese have visited China for training and workshop this year," Wang said, adding "I noticed that they have all appreciated what they saw in China in terms of modernization and the quick improvement in living conditions of the population."
The ambassador said that China will continue to make reforms and open up to the rest of the world while committing to the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party.
Wang said that each nation has a certain way it can follow to reach sustainable development.
"For China, this path was socialism with some Chinese characteristics, but for Lebanon, it may be different. Lebanon, however, can discover its path to sustainable development from other experiences around the world in a way that would be best suitable with its special circumstances," he said.
Meanwhile, Wassim Audi, former board member of Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL), praised the great achievements made by China in a short period.
"Every year, I visit China and I always see new achievements," he told the Chinese audience attending the reception.
