SUVA, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Fiji Airways received another A350-XWB aircraft on Monday, which brings the national airline's total fleet to 19 planes.
"The additional 350-seat and 20-tonne cargo capacity will assist Fiji Airways achieve its strategic role in the Pacific region to support and develop tourism and trade," Fiji Airways Managing Director and CEO Andre Viljoen said.
The two A350s are named Island of Viti Levu and Island of Vanua Levu, which are the biggest and the second largest islands in Fiji.
Fiji Airways is the flag carrier airline of Fiji and operates international services from its hubs to 13 countries and 23 cities including Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands in Oceania, the United States, China's Hong Kong and Singapore.
