DHAKA, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves reached over 32 billion U.S. dollars by the end of December, central bank data showed on Thursday.
Bangladesh Bank (BB) data showed the foreign exchange reserves stood at 32,688.48 million U.S. dollars in December compared with 31,728.99 million U.S. dollars in November.
With the existing reserves, Bangladesh Bank officials said Bangladesh is in a position to pay about seven months' import bills.
Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves crossed the 33-billion-U.S. dollar mark in June 2017.
