Three Gorges Reservoir area prospers by green development

A ship sails through the Wuxia Gorge, one of the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River, in Wushan County, southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, March 26, 2019. Located in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the Three Gorges Reservoir area is an important ecological function zone and reservoir of freshwater resources in China. In the past two years, the Chongqing municipal government has strengthened ecological and environmental protection of the reservoir area and explored solutions of green growth.
