Jinzhai, a birthplace of a major branch of the Red Army, is also called "the county of general," from which 59 founding generals of the People's Republic of China came. Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Jinzhai County in April 2016 and underscored the need to pass on the spirit of the "red country" to future generations.
