TUNIS, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian Health Ministry on Saturday reported 1,223 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections to 20,944 with 276 deaths in the country.
A total of 238,671 lab tests have been carried out, of which 8.6 percent proved positive, the ministry said in a statement.
New urgent preventive measures will be taken to combat the rapid spread of COVID-19 in Tunisia, Minister of Health Faouzi Mehdi announced on Friday. Enditem
