Seventy years ago, the Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) army entered the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to help in the war to resist U.S. aggression. A total of 2.9 million CPV soldiers went to the battlefield between October 1950 and 1953 when a truce was signed. Zhou Dachuan and Zhang Shiyan were among them. When recalling the unforgettable memory, they say people should always remember those who lost their lives in the war and cherish peace.
