Mongolia reports 1 imported COVID-19 case

ULAN BATOR, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia reported one COVID-19 case, bringing the national tally to 338, said the health ministry in a statement on Sunday.

"A total of 673 tests for COVID-19 were conducted across Mongolia yesterday and one of them was positive. The latest case is a transport driver who has entered Mongolia via Altanbulag border point," said the statement.

So far, Mongolia has registered no local transmissions or deaths. Most infections were imported from neighboring Russia.

The ministry said 312 patients have recovered from the disease, and 26 are under medical care at the country's National Center for Communicable Diseases with six in severe condition. Enditem
