BOGOTA, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- The number of COVID-19 infections in Colombia has reached 1,074,184, with 11,033 new cases registered in the past 24 hours, Colombian health authorities said Saturday.
Meanwhile, 179 more deaths were reported, raising the nationwide death toll to 31,314, the authorities said, adding that 969,230 people have so far recovered from the disease.
The Colombian government has extended the selective quarantine phase until Dec. 1 to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Enditem
