HANGZHOU, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Archaeologists have discovered a cultural relics site dating back to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770 B.C.-256 B.C.) in east China's Zhejiang Province.
Excavations from July 2019 to May 2020 on 1,000 square meters of land at the Sigushan site in the city of Ningbo yielded relics including pottery, porcelain and bronzeware.
A cluster of pole holes was found at the location, which is presumed to be a housing site, along with a sedimentation tank, a mud storage tank, a water well and more than 10 ash pits.
Authorities will carry out research on the sampled remains to seek more evidence for accurately determining the nature of the site. Enditem
