JAKARTA, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia has seized a Malaysian-flagged fishing vessel with Myanmar crew in the Malacca Strait, according to the Ministry of Marine and Fishery Affairs on Thursday.
The ministry's Director General of Marine and Fishery Resources Supervision, Tb. Haeru Rahayu, said the vessel with the hull number KHF 1923 was accused of catching fish illegally in the Indonesian waters when it was arrested last Tuesday.
The ministry took the vessel and its crew to its agency responsible for supervising the marine and fishery resources in Riau province's city of Dumai for further legal process. Enditem
