TBILISI, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Georgia reported 4,734 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing its total to 174,383, its National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) said.
Among the 4,734 cases, 1,637 were confirmed in the capital city of Tbilisi. The country has conducted 20,959 tests in the past 24 hours.
As of Wednesday, 145,287 patients have recovered, while 1,614 have died, said the center.
Georgia reported its first confirmed case on Feb. 26. Enditem
