MEXICO CITY, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Former Argentina international goalkeeper Oscar Ustari has signed a three-year contract extension with Pachuca, the Mexican club said on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old made 25 appearances across all competitions in 2020 and kept 11 clean sheets after joining Pachuca from Liverpool Montevideo in January.

"The experienced goalkeeper had an outstanding 2020 with Los Tuzos and signed a new contract until 2023," Pachuca said in a statement on the club's official website.

Ustari has been capped twice for Argentina's senior national team and was a member of the Albiceleste's 2006 FIFA World Cup squad. He was also the first-choice goalkeeper in the Argentina side that won the gold medal at the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

In addition, Pachuca said the club reached a deal to sign Colombian attacking midfielder Santiago Mosquera from Major League Soccer outfit FC Dallas. Enditem
