ZHENGZHOU, China, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Bosnian defender Toni Sunjic has formally joined Henan Jianye from fellow Chinese Super League (CSL) side Beijing Guoan, the clubs confirmed on Saturday.
32-year-old Sunjic, who stands 1.94m tall, has played for many clubs across Europe, including VfB Stuttgart, S.S.D. Palermo, and FC Dynamo Moscow. He also represented his country at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Beijing Guoan announced Sunjic's arrival from Dynamo Moscow on September 30th, 2020, before immediately confirming his loan to Henan Jianye.
Sunjic played six games for Henan Jianye in the 2020 season, and his performance was recognized by the club. Enditem
