TBILISI, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- Georgia reported 537 more COVID-19 cases on Friday, taking its total to 236,028.
Among the new cases, 290 were confirmed in the capital city of Tbilisi, the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health said.
As of Friday, 224,189 of the 236,028 patients have recovered, while 2,728 others have died from the disease, said the center. Enditem
