Some 20 Taiwanese receive free COVID-19 vaccine in Xiamen

XIAMEN, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Some 20 Taiwanese people living in Xiamen, south China's Fujian Province received free COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday.

Joe Chen, deputy president of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Xiamen, was one of them. The vaccination was completed in around five minutes after filling in a form, and having his body temperature taken, he said.

The vaccination is available for Taiwanese people with high risk of infection aged from 18 to 59, with residence or travel permit to the mainland.
