PHNOM PENH, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- The state-owned Cambodia Post has seen a 46-percent decline in revenue in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, said its general director Ork Bora on Wednesday.

The kingdom's largest mail service provider made approximately seven million U.S. dollars in revenue last year, down 46 percent from 13.16 million dollars in a year earlier, he said.

"Due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, from March to July last year, the international mail service had been completely halted as a result of flight suspension, so we earned zero dollar during the period," he told reporters.

"We just resumed our operations on August 1, 2020," he added.

The Southeast Asian nation has registered a total of 448 confirmed COVID-19 cases to date, with zero deaths and 392 recoveries, the Ministry of Health said in a statement. Enditem
