Cambodia reports 2 new imported COVID-19 cases, tally now at 463

PHNOM PENH, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia on Friday confirmed two new imported COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections in the kingdom to 463, said a Ministry of Health (MoH) statement.

The new cases were detected on a 27-year-old Cambodian woman returning from Thailand on Jan. 14 and a 60-year-old Cambodian woman coming from South Korea on Jan. 15, the statement said.

"Both were found positive for the virus in their second tests after being quarantined for two weeks," it said.

They are currently undergoing treatment at designated COVID-19 hospitals.

The Southeast Asian nation has so far registered a total of 463 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with zero deaths and 438 recoveries, according to the statement. Enditem
