Brunei reports 1 new imported COVID-19 case, 181 cases in total

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Brunei reported one new imported case of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the national tally to 181.

According to Brunei's Ministry of Health, Case 181 is a 36 year-old man who arrived in Brunei on Jan. 22 from Europe via Kuala Lumpur. The contact tracing for this case has found no close contacts as he has been quarantined upon arrival in the country.

With the detection of this latest case, a total of 40 imported cases have been confirmed since the last local infection case on May 6, 2020. At present, Brunei has recorded 275 days without COVID-19 local infection cases. Enditem
