HARBIN, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province reported one asymptomatic COVID-19 carrier and no new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday, local health authorities said Tuesday.
The virus carrier has been put under medical treatment in the designated hospital, and their close contacts have been isolated, the provincial health commission said.
A total of 34 confirmed cases were discharged from hospital after recovery, and 47 asymptomatic carriers were released from medical observation on Monday.
By Monday, the province had 316 confirmed cases and 274 asymptomatic carriers under medical treatment and observation. Enditem
