MOGADISHU, March 5 (Xinhua) -- An explosion suspected to be caused by an explosive device hit a restaurant in Hamar Jajab in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Friday evening, witnesses said.
Witnesses said the explosion which could be felt in some parts of the restive city targeted the Lul Yemeni restaurant located near the central prison.
"I heard a bomb followed by gunfire in the vicinity of Lul Yemeni. This is the second time the restaurant is being targeted. There are casualties whom I cannot confirm now," said a resident of Hamar Jajab district who declined to be named. Enditem
