Police seize drugs in China's Yunnan

KUNMING, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Police in southwest China's Yunnan Province busted a drug-trafficking case, nabbing three suspects and seizing 106 kg of drugs.

After receiving a tip-off that a gang of drug dealers was planning to traffic drugs into China, police in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture set up a task force to investigate the case.

On Monday, three suspects were arrested in the city of Ruili, with 106 kg of heroin and methamphetamine seized on the spot.

Further investigation is underway.
