BEIRUT, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese President Michel Aoun slammed on Thursday "Israel's violation of the Lebanese airspace" during its overnight attacks against Syrian territories, a statement by Lebanon's Presidency reported.
Aoun called upon Lebanese Ambassador to the United Nations Amal Mudallali to inform the UN Secretariat of the continued violation of the Lebanese sovereignty by Israeli forces, especially in light of the use of the Lebanese airspace to target Syrian territories, leading to damages in two Lebanese towns.
