Zhang Lei makes silk tapestry with Kesi technique at his studio in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, Sept. 6, 2019. Zhang Lei, a 35-year-old craftsman, has been dedicated to Kesi, one of traditional Chinese silk tapestry making method, for 16 years. Zhang established his own studio in 2012, and applied the traditional Kesi technique on moon-shaped fans, framed decorative pictures and pouches, creating crafts favored by modern people.
