CARING Prince Harry followed in mum Diana’s footprints as he toured an African minefield just like she did.
Harry, 28 — patron of the Halo Trust’s 25th Anniversary Appeal — saw the charity’s work in clearing the devices in Angola.
The Prince, wearing a flak jacket and visor, also chatted to bosses.
Diana visited the war-scarred country with the same group in 1997.

Halo chief Guy Willoughby said: “We’re delighted that Prince Harry has come out to Angola to support us in getting mines out of the ground for good.
“His commitment plays an invaluable role in helping us to raise awareness of our work and mission.
“Wars may be over but many people are still unable to resume normal lives, facing the threat of death or injury by landmines every day.”

Kensington Palace added: “Prince Harry was pleased to see how much progress the charity has made.
“He is keen to keep supporting their efforts in any way he can.”
Since being founded in 1988, Halo has destroyed more than 1.4 million landmines and 11 million various explosives.
The chilling haul includes 21,300 mines found in and around Cuito Cuanavale, thought to be Africa’s most heavily mined town.
