    IT’S the most unlikely pairing since PAUL McCARTNEY and Rupert Bear.

    BETH DITTO and CHER LLOYD have struck up a friendship.

    The GOSSIP singer is co-writing Cher’s new album, which is being tipped for big success in the States.

    Cher, who came fourth on The X Factor in 2010, has done well for herself after spending the last year or so in the US.

    She’s selling records there – meaning we don’t need to put up with her tantrums any more.
