BERLIN, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Borussia Dortmund's Youssoufa Moukoko became the Bundesliga's youngest ever goal scorer but his equalizer wasn't enough as Marvin Friedrich's 2-1 winner secured all three points for hosts Union Berlin in the curtain-raiser of the 13th round in Bundesliga on Friday.

Union caught a bright start on home soil and came close with only two minutes gone when Dortmund's Mats Hummels had to block Taiwo Awoniyi's attempt from the edge of the box.

Dortmund responded eight minutes later as Union goalkeeper Andreas Luth was on guard to defuse Jadon Sancho's effort following the build-up work from Moukoko.

Union remained dangerous and produced another promising opportunity after Awoniyi forced Dortmund custodian Roman Burki into action with 17 minutes played.

As the match progressed, Dortmund increased the pressure after Moukoko pulled wide in the 31st minute before the 16-year-old attacker rattled the woodwork from Raphael Guerreiro's assist in the closing stages of the first half.

In the second half, the "BVB" assumed control but for all that it was the hosts who opened the scoring in the 57th minute when Christopher Trimmel's flicked on corner found Awoniyi, who made no mistake and headed home at the far post to make it 1-0.

It was a short-lived joy for the "Eisernen" though as Dortmund rallied back only three minutes later after Moukoko made the most of Guerreiro's through-ball to become Bundesliga's youngest scorer at 16 years and 28 days.

Dortmund piled on the pressure, but Union halted the visitor's momentum in the 78th minute when Cedric Teuchert's chipped corner allowed Friedrich to nod home the 2-1 decider from very close range.

Friedrich's winner broke Dortmund's resistance and inflicted the "BVB" with its fifth loss of the season.

With the result, Dortmund stays in fourth place for the moment, meanwhile Union Berlin jumps to fifth place after recording its fifth win of the campaign.

The following fixtures are scheduled for Saturday: third-placed Leipzig host Cologne, Borussia Monchengladbach face Hoffenheim, bottom side Schalke meet Arminia Bielefeld, Mainz play Werder Bremen, Augsburg encounter Eintracht Frankfurt and front runners Bayer Leverkusen clash with defending champions Bayern Munich.
